
Is race registration compulsory? What do I need to bring with me to the race registration?
Onsite Race Registration is compulsory. Please bring a copy of your registration and transaction confirmation, and a photo ID (passport or driver’s license) to the race registration counter for verification and collection of your race kit and goodie bag.

Can I practice on the Triathlon cycle course prior to the event?
Yes, however, once the event is underway only participants are allowed on the race course. If you want to practice on the course, you can take part in our led ride round the course on Thursday 18th October starting from the front of the Evason at 07:00.

Do I need to collect my race kit in person at registration or can I send somebody to collect it on my behalf?
If you are unable to collect the race kit in person at race registration, you may appoint a representative. The representative must present a photocopy of the participant’s photo ID (passport or driver’s license) to the race registration counter for verification and collection of race kit and goodie bag.

Is the race briefing compulsory?
Yes the briefing is compulsory to ALL athletes as important information will be included. Missing the briefing leaves you at risk of missing vital information that may not be covered in the race booklet.

Where do I get my official Pranburi International Triathlon 2007 T-Shirt?
You will receive your t-shirt at registration in your goodie bag.

Where do I get my timing chip?
Timing chips are included in the race kit and given out at race registration.

Where do I pin my race number?
You have to wear your race number on the back of your shirt during the cycle section and on the front of your shirt during the run section.

Where is the transition area?
To be confirmed

Who can enter the transition area?
Only participants are allowed to enter the transition area.

Where do I pick up my race number if I don’t have one?
You can pick up your race number at the race registration.

Can I race with an MP3 or other music player?
At no time during the competition are headphones permitted, as stated in the rules and regulations. Participants wearing such items will be disqualified.

What are the age restrictions?
Participants racing in the Sprint distance triathlon must be 13 years old and above on race day to compete in the race individually, and 11 years old and above to be part of a Sprint distance relay team.
Participants racing in the Olympic distance triathlon individually or in a relay team must be 15 years old and above on race day to compete in the race.

What is in my race kit?
1 x Timing Chip (to be worn around your left ankle)
2 x Race Bibs (to be worn on the back during the bike leg; and on the front during the run leg)
1 x Bike Tag (to be secured with the provided tie wraps)
