Final Update for the Pranburi
International Triathlon 2007

Dear Pranburi Athletes,

We hope you have been enjoying your training on the lead up to this event and that you are now well prepared for this inaugural event.

We would just like to remind about the following items:

REGISTRATION ON FRIDAY
We would like to remind everyone that race registration takes place at Evason Resort in Pranburi on Friday 19 October. Registration desk will be open from 10.00 hrs – 22.00 hrs.
Please bring proper identification with you to claim your registration pack.

Once you have received your registration pack you will need to proceed to the timing table to have your timing chip checked to make sure your chip number corresponds with you race bib number. You will also be asked for a 500 Baht deposit, which will be returned when the chip is returned at the end of the race.

Your registration pack will include:

• Race number for bike & run
• Competitor's T-shirt
• Numbered bag for race gear
• (1) Invitation to the Awards dinner
• (1) invitation to carbo dinner
• Athlete brochure

In your registration pack, you will receive one numbered bag to be used for gear after the completion of the swim and the bike.
All bags, equipment and bikes must be claimed and removed from the Transition Area by 14:00 on race day.

Bikes are allowed in the rooms.

Please note that there will be no registration available on Saturday. Anyone that does not register on Friday 19 October will not be eligible to compete.

Don’t forget the CARBO LOADING DINNER is open for all athletes and will start at 18.30 and will be set up in the garden near the tennis courts of the Evason resort (weather permitting). All athletes are invited to attend.

THE RACE BRIEFING will be after the dinner: 20:30 – 21:30 Race Briefing in English and Thai (attendance mandatory for all athletes)

For those that have rented bikes for the event: The bike rental company is SpiceRoads. SpiceRoads will have a mechanic area in front of Modena Beachfront Development - 200 m south of the Evason. The bikes will have bottle cages for bottles but bottles will not be provided.

ON RACE DAY
TRANSITION AREA will be open from 05:40 until 06:45 and you will need to have your body marked with your race number and you will also asked to produce your bike helmet - no helmet - no race.

For your information there are 196 athletes competing in the inaugural event. A total of 74 athletes in the Olympic distance; 82 in the sprint distance and 40 competing as part of relay teams.
